David Glasgow is the founding executive director of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law, and coauthor of the book Say the Right Thing: How to Talk about Identity, Diversity, and Justice.

In his role at the Meltzer Center, he develops and executes educational programs for external clients and has worked with Fortune 500 companies in entertainment, technology, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and other industries; professional services firms; and public interest organizations. He also coordinates a speaker series and other events on contemporary diversity and inclusion issues; supports the Law School on internal diversity and inclusion efforts; supervises student fellows; and manages the center’s general operations. He has also co-taught several iterations of a course on leadership, diversity, and inclusion with Professor Kenji Yoshino.

David graduated with a BA in philosophy and an LLB (First Class Honors) from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and clerked on the Federal Court of Australia. A dual-qualified attorney in New York and Australia, he practiced employment, labor relations, and antidiscrimination law at law firm King & Wood Mallesons before completing his Master of Laws (LLM) at NYU School of Law in 2014, where he was awarded the David H. Moses Memorial Prize and the George Colin Award.

He lives with his husband and two children in San Diego, California.
